elciem has a team of pulp and paper sector experts.  These UK-based engineers were formerly part of the FM Global Pulp and Paper practice group and have experience of providing risk engineering services to a number of large paper mills throughout the UK and Scandinavia.  In addition, they have worked successfully with clients around the world to identify, quantify and manage the unique exposures presented by this sector through a combination of physical protection solutions and the implementation of risk management loss prevention systems and procedures.

Recent engagements have included the provision of risk engineering reports and a market overview for one of Asia’s largest pulp and paper manufacturers, and the development of a sector underwriting guidance document and content for an IT-based loss prevention solution for a large UK composite insurer.
